Pet Hospice and After Surgery Care
Why we are introducing hospice and after surgery care. The speciality staff of OC Pet Companions has been in the veterinary field for over a combined total of 90+ years’ experience. We have the unique perspective on the needs of pet owners and their pets after surgery or as their time to cross the rainbow bridge nears. Our goal is to alleviate stress and anxiety while taking care of your pet so you can enjoy your time with them and not worry that you not able to take care of them.
Services we can provide:
- Fluid administration (SQ)
- Bladder expression
- Tube feeding/syringe feeding/Medicate via e-tube
- Bathing/light grooming
- Medications (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous)
- Med pick up/food pick ups
- Veterinary appointments (To discuss Hospice)
- Bandage and wound care (bed sores)
- Day sitting
- Overnight care
- On-call service
- Referral service
All services are discussed with your veterinarian before services are started. And we follow up with your veterinarian as the process moves forward.
